I turn 55 this year and I wanted to prove to myself that I can still do hard things, so I enrolled in a 10-mile, 25 obstacle Tough Mudder Race on June 5, 2021. When my family found out, they immediately wanted to participate. I got immediate support without having to ask, or even think about it. Unfortunately, there are children in our community that don't get support, mentoring or guidance. That's why I joined the Big Brothers Big Sisters board, to help these children find good role models. It costs money to find and support good matches, so I decided to dedicate this run to those children and that cause. Join me in achieving a $2,500 fund raising goal.
