My husband and I decided to volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters in November 2016. We joined with the purpose of giving back to our community but to be honest, I have received so much more than I have given so far! Being a big sister has taught me patience, understanding, and has given me so much confidence. My little likes me for who I am and is just as happy when we do little outings to the library or bigger outings to the mall. Being a part of Big Brother Big Sisters has been such a positive experience for me and I am participating in this challenge to help connect other bigs and littles so others can take part in this wonderful program.
Oh, and my goal - well it's mostly just to beat my husband. Whoever loses is stuck doing dishes for a week!
